Dr. Schumacher is Vice President for Geosciences and Technology for E&P Geo)(Field Services. Before creating E&P Geo)(Field Services and E&P Field Services Asia, Deet was Director of Geochemistry (1997-2012) for Geo-Microbial Technologies, an international provider of surface geochemical and microbiological surveys. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Geology from the Univ. of Wisconsin (Madison) and his Ph.D. from the Univ. of Missouri (Columbia). Dr. Schumacher has more than 35 years of academic and industry experience, including 20 years with Phillips Petroleum and Pennzoil. Dr. Schumacher has a long-standing interest in technologies for surface geochemical and non-seismic detection of hydrocarbon and he has been responsible for acquiring and interpreting surface geochemical data for hundreds of surveys conducted in North and South America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia. For Geosciences and Technology – He has organized and taught an industry short course, Geochemical Exploration for Oil and Gas, for AAPG and other geological organizations and individual companies worldwide for more than 20 years. Schumacher has edited several significant volumes on petroleum exploration, including AAPG Memoir 66 (1996), “Hydrocarbon Migration and Its Near-Surface Expression”, and “Surface Exploration Case Histories”, published jointly by AAPG and SEG in 2002. He is currently working on a new book for the Society of Exploration Geophysicists titled “Non-Seismic Detection of Hydrocarbons: Methods, Applications, and Exploration Case histories.” Dr. Schumacher is a Certified Petroleum Geologist (CPG-4301), a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists and the Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists.

Before creating E&P Geo)(Field Services, Luigi was Director of International Operations of E&P Field Services Asia and GMT/GMTI (1997-2013). He did his studies of Pre-Engineering at Northeast Missouri State University-USA and the University of Missouri, Columbia-USA, 1988 – 1990, received his BS in Petroleum Geology and minor in Anthropology - Archeology from the University of South Alabama- USA, 1992. Specialized in seismic acquisition for hydrocarbon exploration and GIS and computer mapping. Luigi has over 20 years of experience in application of surface geochemistry for hydrocarbon exploration in more than 56 countries conducting field data acquisition, laboratory work, interpretation and integration of geophysical data. He has led exploration projects in South America, Pakistan, Africa, & USA completing prospect evaluation and generation, He has also supported legal teams in negotiations & during production for these projects. He is fully fluently in English, French and Spanish.

Ir. Wan Zuhairi Wan Yaakub (Wan) Co-founder of E&P Field Services Asia serves as the President and CEO of E&P Field Services Asia in Shah Alam, Malaysia. Mr. Ir. Wan oversees the general administration of day-to-day operation of E&P. Prior to embarking in the oil and gas industry, Mr. Ir. Wan has been working for 15 years in engineering fields including industrial plant automation, engineering services and project management. Mr. Ir. Wan, an engineer by profession, a Professional Engineer registered with the Board of Engineers of Malaysia (PE12160) and a Corporate Member of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from University of South Alabama, USA.
